Football News

On Thursday 26th September, our football team had a match at Golborne High against Gilded Hollins. Our team of Y5’s and 6’s had an unbelievable performance, with an emphatic 16-5 victory!

After a strong start, we found ourselves 1-0 down, but the team came back strong and soon made it 1-1. After that, Adam made some fantastic saves to keep us in it! Everyone worked really hard and played a crucial part in the victory. There has to be a special mention to Jake and Harrison who managed to get 10 goals between them. Although, I have to admit I might have lost count! Leo, Jolon and Sam all managed to score 2 as well! It was great to see the improvement they have made and was fantastic to see how well they worked as a team.
Well done!

Mr Wilkinson
